Wirt Whitlook, of Stemton, is visiting his brother, Harris, of this place. The Good Templars will have a lawn social at the home of George Darkens, Tuesday evening, Jnne 16. Picnic supper, 10 cents. Be sure and attend. Children's Day, Sunday evening, Jnne 14, at this church. The children are gettiug np a very nice program assisted by the Good Templars. Mrs. Sarah Fulton, of Brighton, visited her sister, Mrs. Greeu, Saturday. Mrs. George Pray and Mrs. John Huil, of Dimondale, are visitiDg Joseph Pray and family. Dr. Huil, of Dimondale, visited friends here last week. Mrs. Nanoy Spiegelberg is on the gain. Mr.and Mrs.C.LL. Pratt.of Lansing, are visiting Mr. and Mrs.Frank Lewen. Henry Kihl, of Howell, called on friends in this place last Sunday. P. McDonald went to Detroit, Tuesday last to see his nephew, James MoDonald, who got hart on the Btreet car. Fred Dodge, of Langsburg, is spending a few days with his brother Henry.
