Milán, pogressive Milán, will cele-" brate this year with speeches, music, games, dances, and baseball game. Come and hear the eagle and see the flags. See program next week. Mrs. G. R. Williams was ill last week bnt is now convalesoent. Mrs. Kellogg, of Plymontb, is the gnest of Mrs. Susie Knight. The L. O. T. M. and the K. O. T. M. are indulging ín a fine picnic in Hack's grove. Mutic, speeches and dinner. AU are having an enjoyable time. The eleventh annual commencetuent of the Milaa public schools took place Friday evening. It was a fine efi'ort. The gradnates, eight in number, all did well. The innsic was grand. Ypsilanti Orchestra and Master Fred Ellis, of Ypsilanti, gave sorne fine selections in a very pleasing manner. The mimes of the gradnates are as follows: Allie Dalaforce, Mae Alderman, Elmer P. Johnston, Grace Davis, Clara Spencer, Clande R. Chapín, Andrew E. Briggs, Mary E. Sanford. The Messrs. Forsythe and RheinCrank left for their respective homes in Saline and Pittsfield, Saturday afternoon. , Mrs. Holcotnb has returned from her Marquette sojourn. Miss Alice Hinkley retnrned Saturday from her visit in Saginaw. Mrs. McGregor is in Ann Arbor. Mesdames Kelly and Gauntlett went to Ann Arbor Tuesday. Mrs. T. Barnes entertained a guest from Dundee, Tuesday. Mrs.' Nina Dennison, of Dundee, was :he guest of her mother, Mrs. H. Hack, Monday. Milán has two camp meetings in prospect and one tent meeting on hand. At present prayer and hymns and sermons to save the wicked Milau people are plentiful, now, if they are not saved - well - what next? Miss Ida L. Burroughs' last school day entertainment was a success. And we may say the same of the other departments, Friday morning. Prof. C. M. Fuller will go to Bay View for a few weeks this summer.
