The board of supervisors of Washtenaw county mot in the supervisors' room at the oourt house, Munday rnorning at 10 o'clock, tn equalize the assessment of the county and appoint a delégate to the state board of equalization. John E. Miner, firRt ward, oity of Ann Arbor, was elected chairman of the board and he appointed the following committee on equalizatiou : Hiram Lighthall, chairman, Edwin Ball, George Walter, S. S. Bibbins and Mortiraer F. Case. The committee submitted its report leaving the equalizaiton of eaoh township and ward at the same figures as those of last year. Ann Arbor city, $5,335,000; Ann Arbor town, $865,000; Augusta, $502,000; Bridgewater, $757,000; Dexter, $525,000; Freedom, $715,000; Lima, $81,000; Lodi, $15,000; Lyndon, $395,000; Manchester, $1,105,000; Northfield, $723,000; Pittsfleld, $1,106,000; Salem, $908,000; Saline, $1,122,000; Soio, $1,305,000; Sharon, $745,000 ; Snperior, $947,000; Sylvan, $995,000; Webster, $847,000; York, $962,000; Ypsilanti, first district, $1., 935, 000; seoond district, $55,000; total $25,000,000. JVlortimer F. Case of Pittsfield, was elected delégate to represent the county before the state board of equalization which rueets in Lansing in August.
