Shot By A Burglar

Providence, R. I., July 2.- Mrs. Elizabeth Tuylor was shot and seriously wounded by an unknown burglar just after noon Tuesday Mrs. Taylor States that she was aslocp in her chamber when she was awakened by the sound of a man rummaging in her bureau. She asked hiiu what ho wauted and he pointod a revolver at her and answercd: "Keep qulet or Til shoot." Despite the threat Mrs. Tajior screamed for help atd the man fired, the bullet entering Mrs. Taylor's face just below the right nostril. ïhs burglar fled.
