Mr. and Mrs. Mouto have moved back to Corunna. Miss Susie Knight is visiting friends in Blissfield. Mr. and Mrs.Geo. Minto left for Chicago Monday. Mrs. Whittnarsh and Irno spent Monday in Detroit. Mr. Bugeue Allen, of Grand Rapids, is visiting Milan friends. Mrs. Luoy Clark and Eva left Tuesday moruing for Bay View. Mr. and Mrs. Thnrlow Blackmer and Mr. ind Mrs. Guy Coe started Monday morning for a trüp to Flint on their wheels. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Goodrieh and son returned to Aun Arbor Saturday afternoou after a pleaant day spent with Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Williams. Monday Rev. J. P. Ilntchinson and family and Dr. Mesic and family had an interestinft drive and picnic en ren e to Ann Arbor where they arrived fer a pleasant tea social at the residence of Rev. and Mrs. J. P. Hutchinson, about 7 o'olock. Milan -was made a presidential postoffice Jnly lst with a net salary of f1,000 and Mr. J. Gauntlett is made postinaster for four years. The Milan oitizens are pleased to learn this as Mr. Gauntlett is au efficiënt postiuaster and is nntiring in his efforts to keep the vork running as it ought to be. Mr. Chas Kelsey, his genial and pleasant assistant, is ever ready and ■willing to do his part of Uncle Sam's work. So Milán can now congratúlate herself on having a pleasant postoffice, well officered.
