Miss Blanche Starke is visiting Tecumseh friends. Mr. and Mrs. Williarn Nisle drove to Teoumseh Monday. Miss Hannali Rehfuss, of Arm Arbor, is visitiog friends in town. Walter C. Mack, of Aun Arbor, was in town on business Tuesday. Miss Mamie Minges, of Clinton, spent Sunday with friends in town. The Misses Dora aud Emma Saner, of Jackson, are home visiting tbeir paren ts. Master Glenn Sherwood, of Clinton, is visiting with bis cousin, Charles Sloat, jr. Miss Mamie Haag, of Jackson, is visiting with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Haag. Miss Rosa Gappa, who is working in Ann Arbor, is at home with her parents for a week's vacation. Mrs. Celbuski and son Stephen drove to Ann Arbor last Friday to visït friends, returning Monday. Mrs. J. H. Kingsley and daughter Jean have gone to Port Huron for an extended visit with friends. N. Schrnid and familv have gone to Sand Lake to remain the moath of August at Lake View cottage. The Sunday school of Emanuel church will hold its picnic in N. Schmid's grove next Thnrsday. Prof. Mark B. Beal, humorist and dramatic réciter, gives an entertainment at the M. E. church Friday evening. The youug ladies of St. Mary's church gave an ice creatn sooial at Father Heidenreich's Wednesday evening. Fred Aichle and Fred Baltz, of Chicago, 111., are spending their vaoation with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aichle. Mr. and Mrs. Engene Waite, of Grand Rapids, and Mr. Brooks, of Verrnoutville, are the gae-fs of Jlr. and Mrs. O. A. Waite. Mrs. Caulkins, of Chelsea, who has been visitiog at J. H. Kiagsley's, j turued home Wednesday, accompanied by her niece, Marjory Kingsley.
