The streets of onr city will be eulivened Monday at 10 o'clouk a. rn. by eme of the most uovel'sights that has evei been Yitnesged. It can truthfully be said that never before bas a cavalcade embrao sd delegates from so tiiany different races peoples, and nations Ofteu we have been visited by a very varié gated assemblage of snci ín the ordinary travel ing exhibitioDS, bnt, on no occasion ha there been the thorough attesting of the genuineness of the charaoters as are now vonched for by Col. Cody, Mr Nate Salsbury, of the Buffalo Bill' Wild West, indorsed by JMr. James A Bailey himself. Unlike the perennial shows visiting us, this street exhibition will consist o only detaebrnents from eacb división o: peoples, unembellished with gilding o tinsel, and in light marching order The herds of wild buffalo, the vrilc bucking horses and savage steers mus be carefully coralled and guarded iu cainp. Yet the sentiment attached to this, the flrst, march througb our streets of such widely difEerent peoples and military of various countries, is one that marks the progress of man's brotherhood, aud is the flrst exeruplification that in time, knowledge and acquaintance wHI dispel racial prejudices and national hatred, and emphasize the fact of all mankind's kindredship. The red royalty that roved the continent wheii Columbus landed will represent the fast disappearing race - "the last of the Mobicans"- marching by the side of his erstwhiie foe, uow friend, the scont and frontiersman. United States cavalry will carry "Old Glory," the star-spangled banner, aloogside the English-Irish Royal Lpuct'rs and the Cross of St. George. The Prench Chasseur will be in ainity with tbe Germán Cuirassier, with the tricolored drapeau of "La Eelle FraDce" waving in harmony with tbe black eagle of Germany, while the noted Cowboy Band will add patriotic impulse to each with the strains of "Wacht am Rhine," "Marseillaise, " "God Save the Queen," "St. Patrick's Day" aad "Yankee Doodle." As this asemblage of sons of fighting forefathers roarch to the spirit of peace, the Rnssian Cossack from tbe Cauoasns, the Gancho of South America, the Mexican Ruralie, the Texas Ranger, the Asiatic Tartar, Spanish Vaquero, the Bedouin Arab, aDd that latest addition to historie horsemen, tbe American Cowboy, will forra a collection - and all on horseback - tbat presages the dawn of universal friendship - the millennium.
