Killed While Going To A Fire

Kansas City, Kan., Aug. la. - Whilo running to a fire lato Mouday night a heavy hook and ladder truck ran into a pile of rock that had beon heaped in the middlo oí the street aud left without a danger signal. The truck waa overturned and Andy McDonald, the driver, was instantly killed, his back being broken, and Assistant Chief James Beggs, ïruckmun Bert Dill and Hosemim William Clark were all paiufully injured.
