State Tax Equalization

Auditor General Turner has corupleted the tabulation of the assessed and equalized valuation of the aggregate real and personal property of the several counties in Michigan, as made by the boards of supervisors at tbe June sessions of the prösent year, to be submitted to tbe state board of equalization Aug. 17. The total acres assessed are $33.030,270.68; real estáte, valuation as assessed, 775,046,084; personal property, $18,944,544.25; total valution as assessed, $924,994,237.25 ; valuation as equalized, real estáte, $654,439,656.30; personal property, $112,155,493.70; total valuation as eqaalized, $814,536,028.
