At a meeting of the executive couiurittee for the seventh German-Arnerican Day celebraticn, the followiDg resolutiou was unanirnously adopted, viz. : Resolved, That the hearty thanks of this organization be hersby exteuded to the general public for their interest taken in the celebration, and to the oitizens who, by decorating their buildings helped to beautify our city for the occasion. To the city and county officers, and thfi sooieties from Jackson, Chelsea, Dester, Ypsilanti, Saline and Manchester. To Ann Arbor Cantón, No. 30, I. O. O. F. Light Infantry and Rifles. To the Lyra Maennercbor Wolverine Cycle Club and to Dr. J. A. Dell for their attendance and cooperation. To Acting Mayor C. E. Hiscock for bis hearty words of welcome to our guests. To Mr. H. H. Danser for bis very appropriate and inspiring peom. To Mr. L. J. Lisemer for his eloquent, instructive and patriotic oration. To the assistant marshals who so ably assisted their chief ín conducting the great parade, and last, but by no rueans least, to our president Dr. C Georg for the able and masterly mauner in which he presided over and conducted tbe exercises of the day, and the loyal and patriotic words spoken in his address.
