A great many of our citizens attended the Labor day celebration in Toledo Monday. Mrs. Frank Engeler and son, of Bluff ton, Ind. , are visitingher pareuts, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hunt. Miss Julia Kircbhofer coinmenced teaohing school in district No. 8, Bridgewater, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Drake have returned to their home in Philadelphia. Miss Nina Armstrong died at her home last Thursday morning at the age of 15 years, af ter snfferiug with consnmption for some time. She was mnch loved by all who knew her and will be greatly rnissed. She leaves a mother and two sisters beside a laige cirole of friends to monrn her loss. The funeral was held at the Baptist church, Saturday afternoon, and was largely attended. The floral offerings were ruauy and beantifnl.
