Attendance At The U. Of M.

The nnniber of letters of inquiry received with reference to the different departments of the University of Michigan is this year unusually large, and it is believed that all departments, except the law departnient, will show a considerable increase. The freshman class of the homeopathie department will this year be larger than the whole atteudauce last year. The falling off iu the law department is eaused by the change from a two years course to a rhree years course. The senior class of '97 will contain only about 60, in place of 317 as the class of '96 had. The unmber of freshman laws is expected to be greater than last year.
