Made An Assignment

Philadelphia, Sept. S. - The Lockwood Manufacturing company, manufacturers of patent feeding boxes, has made an assignment to James S. Freeland, secretary of the company. No statement of assets and liabilities can be obtained, but the figures will be large. The company has $100,000 capital and has been doing business for the past forty years. The plant is finely equipped with valuable machinery. In the past the company has done a large business, but of late collections have been dull and business has fallen off.
