A special sessiou of the circuit court was held Tuesday at wbich Eby C. Carr was seiitenced to JacksoD for oue year for utteriug a forged uote on the State Savings bank of Feutou, for 35. His sister had deposited that amovint in the bauk and taken a certifícate of deposit. This certifícate was stoleu by Uarr, who is about 21 years oíd, and he carne here and got E. T. Edinunds, to identify him at the bank. The offense was cormnitted last March and he was not arrested until July. A decree of divorce with aliimony was granted to Celeste Gage from Milo Gage. In the case of Luick vs. Glazier, an injuuction was asked for to prevent F. P. Glazier from putting iu a system of waterworks iu the village of Chelsea as per his agreemeut .vith the village council. The injnuctiou was deuied.
