Postoffice Clerks

Denver, Coló., Sept. 15. - The national assoeiation for postoffice clerks. which is holding its seventh annual convention in this city. has adopted resolutions declaring that it is wbolly a nonpartlsan organization, and that "it promises its support to no eandidate in any political contention." This aetion was taken on motion of Delégate Maloney of Massachusetts, who was reported to have pledged to Mr. Bryan the support of the assoeiation. Strong letters from Postmasters Dayton of New York and Hesing of Chicago in support of the classification bill, which is designed to increase the salaries of postofflee clerks, were read to the convention.
