Emancipation Day

Spring-fieia, Hls., Sept. 22.- Emancipation dáy was celebrated at the home of the great emancipator here, Tuesday. Excursión trains from Chicago, St. Louis, Belleville. Peoria, Jackson■vïllo, Decatur and other points brought hundreds of colored people. There was a grand street parade, headed by colored wheelmen, baftds, drum corps, fioats, etc.
