Discharged From Custody
E. R. E. Cowell and Miss Elizabeth Skinner, who were arrestad at Eaton Rapids a couple of weeks ago at the instigation of Mrs. Cowell, of Ypsilanti, who charged thern with unlawfnl cohabitation, were discharged Friday at Detroit upon the advice of the proseouting attorney. The reason therefor is that the only living witness to the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Cowell is the minister who married theru aDd he wrote that as the marriage occurred somfi 80 years ago he might not be able ;o identify them. The prosecutor thought the expense was not worth the while on account of the uncertaiuty.
