Hon. T. Barkworth, of Jackson, silver nominee for congress from the second district, and H. C. Waldron addressed a packed opera house for two hours, at Saline, Wednesday afternoon, after which the crowd repaired ,to the street, where a 110-foot pole was raised amid characteristic enthusiasm. Although rain feil most oí the afternoon, it did not seeui to dampen the ardor of the advocates of tree silver, nor did it prevent a good crowd from being out. A good day would have made this one of the biggest meetings of the kind.
