Petition For A Receiver

Laconia, N. H., Oct. 6.- The Laconia Car company, through its president Perley Putnam, a large creditor, petitioned Tuesday for the appointment of a receiver. The entire indebtedness is $3öO,000, of which $150,000 is mortgaged bonds. The present flnancial diffleulty is attributed to the general depression of business.
