At the meeting of the C. M. B. A. held October 8, 1896, the following resolutions werepassed: Whereas, It has seemed well to our Divine Commander to remove from oor midst our beloved brothers, John Graoe and John McLaughlin, and Whereas, While we acknowledge and bow to His loving wisdom, we are nevertheless sorely bereaved in losing those whose gentleness and justness of charaoter have bettered and broadened our lives; therefore, Resolved, That we extend to the sorrowing relatives our tenderest sympathy; that our charter be draped in mourning for the next sixty days; that these resolutions be spread upon our minutes and the a copy of them be furnished to the family of the deceased and to the city papers.
