The attraotion at the Grand Opera honse tomorrow eveuiug will be Lineólo J. Carter's great scenic melodrama, "The Fast Mail." It has been one of the greatest suocesses known to the stage for years. It has a story of thrilliug interest, and the scenic and other meohanioal effects are said to be marvelons. There is a representation of an engiue room on a Mississippi steamboat, with the f urnaces under the boilers in active operation. A very realistic train of cars shoots aoress the stage, and the Niágara Falls scène is one of the most elabórate and daring things ever undertaken in the drama. It is described as a beautiful, vivid and accurate representation of that stupendons marvel of nature. " The Falls are ehown by moonlight, with the roaring and plunging waters, and the mist tbat rises from the seething ourrent. One of the most prominent of the play's features is the complete freight train of fonrteen cars, with an illuminated caboose, drawn by a practical looomotive. The play itself bas thrilling sitations in abundance, plenty of humor to lighten its tone and give it an agreeable flavor thronghout. Seats are now on sale. Halloween comes on Saturday and therefore the sooial which was to be given at tbat time will be given the evening before. Master Freddie Daly, of Detroit, will sing a solo at the raen's meeting next Sunrlay, Oot. 25, at 2 :45 p. m. Prof. V. Al. Spalding will give an address on thesnbjrot: "Greater Works. " Youug men can't afford to miss these meetings.
