Cantón, O., Nov. 3. - Major McKinley cast nis vote at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. It was straight Republican from top to bottom. All Cantón was astir at an early hour for the culmination of the struggle in which it has figured so prominently. Bands and marching clubs were on the streets by 6 o'clock summoning voters to cast their ballots early. It was an ideal fall day, cool and balmy with the haze of Indian Bummer in the air. Cleveland, O., Nov. 3. - There was a perfect crush of voters around the polls in this city during the early hours of the rnorning. Not since the war was there so much interest manifested in a presidential election. At many of the voting booths long lines of voters were drawn up awaiting an opportunity to cast thelr ballots whenthe polls opened. Cincinnati. Nov. 3. - The temperature Tuesday was that of a fine autumn day, crisp enough to be invigorating. Never were voters more eager to get to the polls. In some of the precincts one-half the vote was in the boxes before 8 o'clock, while everywhere there were indications that every vote would be polled.
