Detriot, Mich., Nov. 3. - The weather was warm and clear. The polls in most of the precincts were late in opening, due to the dilatory methods of the election inspectors. In most cases the booths were surrounded by crowds that whiled away the early morning hours by curKing the inspectors. Most of the faetones closed down in the afternoon to give the men time to vote.
