Michigan Crop Report

The state erop bulletin says the average condition of wheat in the state November 1, was 90, in the soutbern counties 88, central oonnties 93, and northern counties 95, comparison being with vitality and growth of average years. The average cendition in the state in previons years has been as.folows: 1893, 78; 1894, 94; 1893, 89; 1892, 87; and 1891, 91. The average oondition in the southern counties is 16 per cent higher than in 1895, 3 per cent lower than in 1894, the same as in 1893 and 1891 and 5 per cent higher han in 1892. The plant appears to be in healthy condition, but is of small growth owing to the unusnally cold weather of October.
