Cincinnati, Nov. 17.- J. P. Carpenter, one of the largest lumber dealers of this city and a resident of Covington, Ky., and D. H. Lyons, a prominent architect of this city, were killed Monday night. They were walking along the doublé tracks of the Cincinnati, Lebanon and Northern railway talking about business when they were caught by trains going in opposite directions and in their confusión both were killed.
