Grand Rapids High School won yesleiday's football game with the Anu Arbor High School boys, at Grand Rapids, by a score of 12 to 10. It was a snperb fight in the flrst half, when the locale ontplayed the visitors at every point. It was onJy by a close margin that Ann Arbor was kept from winuing. The flrst touchdown went to Grand Rapids after 20 minutes of play. Anu Arbor won the toss and chose the west goal with a southwest wind in her favor. On catcbing the kick-oS Ann Arbor fnmbled and Hoskins, of Grand Rapids, feil on tbe ball. Three times was it rnshed to Ann Arbor's goal, and as many times thrnst back on downs or oft-repeated fnmbles. Tbe score at the end of the half was 8 to 0 in favor of Grand Rapids. Aon Arbor rallied for the second half, but Grand Rapids was good. A sensational run by Fox gave Grand Rapids her third touchdown, and her last score. No goal was kicked. Four of the Graud Rapids boys were laid out, but she made Ann Arbor earn all she got. Time saved her when tbe ball was with Ann Arbor, and in Grand Rapids terntory. Rogers, Tilton and Duffy, of our boys, did wonderful work, as did the entire Ann Arbor line on ofïeuse. Bach failed to kick a goal ons one of Anu Arbor's tovchdowns.
