Brown, Mrs. .7. N. tfartiu and Dr. Pitzgerald, of the gymnasium, vice presidents; R. C. VIoAllaster, secretary ; J. H. Wade, reasurer; F. M. Taylor and J. J. Goodyear, executive committee; V. C. Vaugban, E. E. Calkins, P. C. Freer, Robert Phillips, Frank H. Warren, Mrs. J. V. Sheeban, F. Stofflet, M. O. Wood-Allen, E D. Campbell, 3. 1. Drake, C. G. Darling, 8. A. JVlorau, 5. L. Seyler, Charles Davis, and Mrs. . H. Reighard, members of the counil. A oonstitution was adopted wbich vas signed by about 60 persons, the membership fee being fixed at 25 ceDts. 'he object is the furtheriug of the ause of good roads, seouring needed egislatiou or privileges for wheelmen ud the piomotiou of good fellowship mong cyolers. The iirst practical work hat tbe club will attempt is to have he streets of the city cleared of tacks, )roken glass, stones and other things hat would impede bicycle riding or njure the tires of tbe wheels. When bis has been accomplished the roads djacent to the oity will receive the atention of the club. Ie is stated that bere are 2,500 wheels in the oity, if he owners of two-thirds of them were nrolled in tbe Ann Arbor Cycle Club t would make quite an imposing irmy on parade.
