The board of canvassers bas not yet finished its labors although it is expected that it will be throngh tonight. The votes oast in all the votiiig preoincts in the oouuty have been reoonnted, with the exoeption of Webster, and the supervisor of that township, Edward Buil, refnses to allow that ballot bos to be brongbt to Aun Arbor, claiming tbat the board has uo authority to pompei the election board of that township to do so. As Mr. Dansingbnrg does Dot particularly desire to have this box brought here the vote of Webster may be allowed to staud as it has been returned. Mr. Sohnh has so far made a uet gain of 39 votes and his major i ty instead of beiug 25 is now 64. The recount has been an expensive afiair for the oounty and has been absolntely of qo nsfl whatever, except to increase Mr. Schuh's majority. It is estimated that the reoount will oost the connty betweeu 500 and $(500.
