Henry Trolz was at Wolf Lake last week. Harlow Perry is in town dehorning cattle. John Scheible is reshingling his house. Beu Meyer and .his sister have returued from Illinois. Joha ïrolz expects to work the Bertek farm near Eowe Corners. Ssth Smith, of Hillsdale, spent Sunday at Mr. and Airs. Geo. D. Pardee's. Mr. Uarpenter, of East Sbarou, is moving on to Henry Mellenkamp's farm. Mr. and Mrs. I. Adelbert Pratt, of Onsted, spent Sunday at the home of George Pratt. Mrs. E. M. Pierce and son, Vernon, have returned from their visit ac Onsted and Adrián. David Dnbois and his mother were called to Milan last week by the death of Miss Bessie Case. Will Keeler has been visiting his brother, Prof. P. L. Keeler, of tho Central Michigan Normal. Mrs. George Kirkwood was taken to Ann Arbor last week to reoeive treatment at the U. of M. hospital. Tbe young people surprised Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steinegeweg and spent the evening very enjoyably in danciDg. Mrs. Harriet Bullard has gone to Perrington, to spend the winter with her daugbter, Mrs. Addis Gillett. The steam shovel is at work at Green's orossing getting out gravel for repairing tbe L. 8. & M. S. line. The young people of North Sharou held a dauciog party at Heunan Strahle's vacant lait Friday night. Miss Jennie Monks, wfao has been living at A. T. Kirkwood's, has gone to live with her sister near Ann Arbor. Miss Ella Rose has returned from a year's stay with her sister in Dnluth. We are glad to weloome her to the home of her childhood again.
