Y. M. C. A. Thanksgiving Banquet
Nearly 200 ruembers and friends of the Young Msn's Cbristian Association took in the suruptuous Thanksgiving baaquet spread by the Woman's Auxiliary Ti esday eveuing. J. A. C. Hildntr oocupied thsi toastmaster's chair and toasts wtre responded to as follows: "The Bcys," I. B. Edvvards. 'Ou Western rotbers, " Allen Broomhall, of Iowa; "O ir Association, " Richard Flynn ; "Our Hostesses," Edward Krapf; "Dry Goods," Earle Stewart; "Our New Building, " B. B. Johnson. Some good speeches resulted from this seleotion. The entiie Chequainegon orohestra was present and reudered some flue selections of rousio. Other musical numbers wera two solos by Mrs. Stella Sebastian McClure, and one by Mrs. Alta M. Beach. Miss Bmma Pischer gave a piano solo, J. F. Schaeberle a violin solo, and Mr. Dudley a clarionet solo, all of which were well reoeived, Miss Fischer having to r6spond to an enoore. It was all in all a very happy affair.
