Houghton, Mich., Nov. 24.- The Union Bridge company's employés oompleted their contract Monday in erecting the Ked Jacket shaft rock house for the Calumet and Hecla Mining c-ompany. This is the largest structural steel mining shaft house in the world, over 2,250 pounds of steel being erected on a space of 41x80 feet. Over 45,000 rivets were used. It was built in ftfty days.
