The Orobard Lake football team was so badly crippled up that it could not play the game witb the All-Freshmeu eleven last Satnrday. Oapt. Mort Senter, of the football eleveu, bas resigned his position on acÍ conut of bis last summer's illness and I his weak aukle. "Count" Villa has been ohosen as his successor. The üniversity band has 15 men in its organization. Ray Warren is leader and Harry de Pont manager. A few more instruments are needed, Clarionets, alto and tenor horns and a bass drum are needed to make it complete. Prof. Trneblood gave a recital of "Julius Caesar" at the Üniversity of Chicago, Tuesday evening and at Northwestern Üniversity, Wednesday evening. The proceeds of the recitals went to the Northern Oratorical League. He will also lectnre at these institutions on the 'Qualifioations of the Orator." The "At home" given by tbe Women's League in honor of Dr. Mosher, Friday night, in the Women's Gymnasium, was a very successful affair. The gymnasium was crowded and the decorations of flaga and bunting made the scène an attraotive one. Dr. Mosher, Mrs. Angelí, Dr. and Mrs. D'Ooge, Mrs. Walker and Miss Sarah Brown receivsd. The cnaperones were Mesdames D'Ooge, Walter, Stevens and Walker. The following are the appointmentg to the permanent mernbership of tbe IJ. of M. Glee Club as announoed by Bansoin G. George, its leader: First tenor, P. R. Furlong, W. G. Law, Á. M. Webster and W. R. Wood; second tenor, C. 3. Dovel, W. M. Mc Kee, R. H. Sntphen, "W. W. Tallman ; first bass, R. G. George, F. I. Motter, C. E. Pease and H. P. Treadway ; seoond bass, Boone Gross, C. E. Mead, S. D. Verdier and E. C. Worden.
