The A. A. L. I. Midwinter Circus
The comniittoe of the Ann Arbor Light Iufantry who have iu charge the secuving' of attractions for the Midwin:er Cirons, to take place in the Armory, Jan. 12-16, 1897, has secnred tbe folowiug artists: Mr. aud Mre. Miller, equesrriaus, who made snch a good irnpression here last year; tbe La Mout Family, two rnen aud one woman, aorobats, who have been seen in this city vvith the "Country Circiis;" Boioe and Pioard, the highest priced and beat 1 oommended bar team in the field ; Lod ! Moore, here last year; Olarke and Devine, clowns; and Neola, juggler and rope walker, who will give a free outside exhibition of rope walking, if the weather perinit. A total of 1 1 persons against uiue last year. Everything points to a more complete circus even than last season's snccessful oue. Miss Flora Charlotte Finley, of this city, lectnred befare the Ladies' Library Clnb of Kalaiaazoo ou Mouday last, and the preRS of tbat city spcke of the lectura iu the most pleasing ternas. Aun Arbor Lodge, B. P. O. Elks, gave au informal r,eception to the Ciuy Bros.' minstrels at their hall on E. Washington st. , Weduesday eveniug after the show. A geueral good time was tbe result.
