Rough On Shakespeare
A local paper in Hungary published ! an account of tbe rendering of "King i Lear" on the stage of a very small theater i 11 the town where the paper appears. The Hungarian critic begins his article in this vny : "The historians of: literainre are still at daggers drawn as to who wrote Shakespeare's pieces - ■ Shakespeare or Bacou. After touight's performaiioe of 'King Lenr' there cannot be a doubt on the matter if any one wil! take the troublo to look into the tombs of those two famous men. The one who still lies on his back bas uot ■written 'King Lear' at any rate, for the true anthor during tonight's performance must certainly have turaed in his grave. "
