A local paper in Hungary published ! an account of tbe rendering of "King i Lear" on the stage of a very small theater i 11 the town where the paper appears. The Hungarian critic begins his article in this vny : "The historians of: literainre are still at daggers drawn as to who wrote Shakespeare's pieces - ■ Shakespeare or Bacou. After touight's performaiioe of 'King Lenr' there cannot be a doubt on the matter if any one wil! take the troublo to look into the tombs of those two famous men.
