The board of managers of the Washteuaw County Agrioultural and Horticultura 1 sooiety met in the couucil ohamber at tbe court honse yesterday and trausacted considerable important business. The dates for the next fair to be held iu Ann Arbor, were flxed for' Sept. 28, 29, 30 and Oot. 1. Harris Ball aud Sid W. Millard were elected to the board, vioe E. P. Mills and W. G. SteveDS, resigued. F. E. Mills was made gpneral superintendent aud Harris Ball marshal. The followiug snperintendents of departuients were appoiuted: Cattle, John Sperry; draft horses, JohuKeppler; earriage horses, Goo. W. Phelps; sheep, N. C. Carpenter; swiue, H. P. Finley; ponltry, W. S. Carpenter; flowers, Mrs. J. M. Braou; fine arts, Mrs. J. Willard Babbitt; farm and garden produce, J. M. Braun ; fruit, Win. Lay; mechanioal works. W. E. Aprill ; miscellaueous, üeo. E.
