At the regular service of tbe First Presbyteriau chnrch Snnday eveuing, the following statistios relating to the operatious of that society during the year 1890 were given out: The Sunday sahool superintendent annouDced as the average attendanue 228; coilections $208. The Christian Endeavor society reported an average attendance of 160,40 new members and bas raised $75. The membership of the .Junior Endeavor society is 51. The ladies of the churoh have raised and oüutribv.tad to their respective fields the following sams: Ladies' Home Missiouary society, $207; Ladies' Foreign Missionary sooiefcy, $262; Young Ladies' Missioüary society,$93; Ladies' Aid society, 309. The amonnt given for the support of the poor out of the DeacoDs' fuud, $163 ; the total given to tbe various benevolent boards was f229; the whole snai raised and contributed for church work and all benevolenca wus $1,152. The clerk of the sessiou reported the admissiou of 55 mombers to the churcb witb 6 deaths and yo dismissals by letter. Total membership at present, 521. The pastor, Rev. J. M. Gelston, stated that he bas praached during the year 'J3 serinous, gave 13 Bible addresses aud officiated at 8 weddings aud 17 fuuerals.
