Fell From The Elevated Tracks

Chicago, Jan. 12.- John Gardiner of Detroit, Mich., who was Injured by falling from the Lake Street Elevated railway structure at Fifth avenue, died Tuesday. The man sustained a fracture of the skull and did net recover consciousness after the accident. Just how it occurred the pclice have not been able to learn. but it ia thoug-ht the man was on the tracks and feil at the approach of a train. The motorman was not considered to b'ame. Gardiner died at St. Luke's hospital.
