East St. Louis, Hls., Jan. 12.- The ninth annually convention of the Illinois Firemen's association niet in Music hall here Tuesday forenoon, with some 200 delegates present, and more are expected arrlve. The convention was called to order by President M. J. Myers. and after a speech of most cordial welcome by Mayor Bader and thé transaction of some preUminary business, ad.iourned until afternoon.
