Mr. and Mrs. Elon Gauntlett are visiting friends in Traverse City and Elk Rapids. The Presbyterian society has added three handsome pqlpit chairs to the chnroh furnishings. Rev. J. P. Hntohinson delivered a grand sermón Sunday morniug at tbe Presbyterian cburch. The ïoung People's Club will have a dancing school witb O. Sheldon, of Ann Arbor, as instructor. The F. & A. M. will hold their annnal valentino party Feb. 19 tbis year. A grand time is expected. Messrs. Pierson, oí' Detroit, and R. Rouse, of Saline, were looking up insnrance business in Milan the last of the week. The weather bas had a freeze up. We are still looking for tbe oopious fall of snow that tbe weather bureau bas promisèd ns.
