Big Deal In Pine

Menominee, Mich., Jan. 19. - The largest pine deal of the season was elosed here Monday, being the transfer of 60,000,000 feet of standing pine in town 48, range 37, Houghton county, from the Cleveland Sawmill and Lumber company to the Sagola Lumber company, for a consideration of $175,000. The timber will be cut and hauled to the latter eompany's mili over a new twenly-five milp logging railroad to be built this winter.
