St. Louis, Jan. 19. - John L. Young of Pittsburg was arrested in the office of W. J. Totten, in this city, sale agent of the Carnegie Steel company, where, it is alleged, he was trying to pass some forged checks. He is also wanted in Pittsburg on the charge of passing forged checks on H. Baer, a Wholesale tobaccoist of that city.
