A Successful Opening
Tbe opening of the Lyra Singing Sooiety rooms last erening was a most successfnl affair from beginuing to end. THe hall was literally packed and the excellent concert of 12 numbers given onder tbe direction of R. H. Kempf, was enthnsiastically received and nearly every rraruber was encored. The best numbers on tbe program were those of Master Freddie Daly, Ann Arbor's boy soprauo, and the clear, bright notes of nis rich yonng voice charmed everyone wbo heard him. The other nnmbers were all well rendered. After the ooucert the hall was cleared and dancing to the mnsio by the Cheqname gons was indnlged in until a late hour.
