The wpmen votcrs of Bciading, Pa., met recently at the home of Mrs. Williaïn Carter, Wobnrn street, and foriucd au organizatiou. Mrs. S. Q. B. Pearson was choseu teiuporary chaimian. Offlcers tor the ensuing year weie ballot ed for, aud the following were elected : Mr. George Bossoii, permanent ahainnau ; Mrs. Warreu B. Eacon, clerk; Mrs. S. Q. B. Peaxson, treasurer. The sooiely then uomiuated Mrs. Kllon M. Bancroft for, member of the school ooiumittno and recorumended that Mrs. Gcrtrude Hus8ey be nomiuated as a trustee of tlie public library. Mrs. Warren Eatou was choseu a committee of one to cotí f er with the proper authoritiea in regard to having a woinau on the board of overBeers of the poor. In conclusión, the society earnestly recomruend that every woninn in town qualifled tovote shonld register aud cast lier vote at the coming town election.
