Municipal Club Meeting

A meeting of the Ann Arbor Mnuioipal Club was held in MoMillan hall, Wednesday evoning. The meeting was presided over by Prof. B. M. Thompson and there were present in addiuon to that gentleman, J. A. Montgomery, Robert Campbell, A. B. Wood, D. W. Springer, W. S. Ferry, George O. Higley, A. J. Kitson, A. E. Mummery, C. A. Maynard, A. J. Mnmmery, Selby A. Moran, A. B. Steveus, Perry Trowbridge, Leonard Bassett and two others. Most of the business consisted of talking over the qnestion of law euforcement, and local option and license were discussed at length. Other qnestions talked of were local option as operated in Massaobusetts, and the present pystem of closing the saloons at 10 o'clock p. m. Mr. Springer suggested that it was time to be looking after the spring election, bnt the meeting was not ready to act, and adjonrned to meet at the same place next Wednesday evening at 3 :30 o'clook.
