The third annnal meeting of the Arm Arbor Humane Society was held in the M. E. church, Sunday. The treasarer's report showed f36.01 on band and $43.75 expended. Humane Agent Peterson reported having attended to 96 oases during the year and prosecuted 5. A vote of thanks was tendered üfficer Pet8rson and President Goodyear. The legislativo committee reported having seoured articles of inoorporation and having drafted a bilí for passage by the present legislatnre by whioh the two statntes relatiDg to cruelty to animáis and children aie to be consolidated. Tbe nominating committee reported the following executive committee for the coming year and it was formally eleoted : H. J. Btown, Wm. N. Brown, Miss Emma Bower, E. E. Calkins, Judge N. W. Cheever, Mrs. J. J. Goodyear, J. T. Jacobs, S. A. Moran, Prof. W. S. Ferry, Mrs. C. G. Plympton, Miss C. Sager, B. St. James, Mrs. J. L. Skinner, Rev. A. Ten Brook, Mrs. Jennie Voorheis. The execative committee elected the following officers of tbe society : President, J. J. Goodyear; vice presiden ts, lst ward, J. H. Wade; 2d, Christian Martin; 3d, A. R. Peterson; 4tb, Dr. J. N. Martin; 5th, W. P. Moore; 6tb, Evart H. Scott; 7th, A. B. Stevens; secretary, B. A. Finney; treasurer, Anna B. Bach ; committee on legislation, Rev. A. Ten Brook, ?J. C. Peterson, N. W. Cheever, W. N. Brown ; committee on education, Rev. A. Ten Brook, W. N. Brown. Mrs. J. Vooraeis, Mrs. C. G. Plympton.
