Chicago, Feb. 2.- Dispatehes from New York contained an interview printed in a newspaper in the eastern city, purporting to be Lyman J. Gage's views on the currency question and the administration of the cabinet office which he is about to assume. Mr. Gage denied the interview and explained that the statements were taken trom an address delivered by him two years ago.
