The prioe of tickets for the Junior bop bas been placed at $6 e&ch. There are at present aboot 25 university Ktndpute in attendauce at the Aun Arbor High school. Quite a nnmber of medical students are snffering from tonsilitis and manyare absent from the lectores. W. H. Thorp, '90, and G. B. Cady, ex-'99, of Detroit, spent the laiter part of last week at the Beta Theta hoase. Beta Theta Phi gave an informal sïeigh ride aud dance at Whitmore Lake Satnrday afternoon and evening. -Mrs. Lombard chaperoued the party. The Beta Theta Pi cotilliou at Granger's academy, Friday uigtit, was a pretty and very pleasnrable affair Twenty-eight conples were present. The following have been chosen as the officers of the senior class in the iiomeopatbio department: President, C. M. Steele; vice president, E. J. Elliott; treasurcr, L. H. Sfcewait; secretary, Mr. Decker. 5 When the trfiasnrer of ihe oratorical associatiou offered to settle with exSenator Tbos. W. Palmer after the debate Saturday night, he said : "Send the money to the poor of Detroit." Treasurer Emmons will therefore forward the amount of Mr. Palmer's expenses to Detroit. In his leotnre to one of the engineering classes Monday moruins, Prof. J. B. Davis severely roasted the goverument for shiftlessness in conneotion withthe acceptance of war vessels. He spoke of the Brooklyn as a "ship that needed repairing before it was finished, " and said that the government methods would disgrace any private business. Arrangements have made with Chicago for four base ball games, two ;o be played in Chicago, one in Detroit, May 22, and one in Ann Arbor, May 9. Games have been sohednled with Wisconsin to be played at Madison, May 10. and in Ann Arbor, June 12. Ou the Chicago trip games will be played with Beloit and the All Chicago high school team.
