Cruelty On The High Seas

San Francisco, Feb. 2. - The crew of the American ship Babcock, from New New York, complajn of extreme cruelty on the part of officers and warrants in the United States district court have been secured by some of the sailors for the arrest of First Officer Reed and Second Mate McLean for alleged cruelty on the hieh seas.
