Troops Guard A Prisoner

Lebanon, Ky., Feb. 9.- William Black arrived here with flfty state troops from Loujsville and was presented in. court immediately to answer for criminal assault of Mrs. J. D. Clark. The negro pleaded guilty and was sentenced to seven years In the penitentiary, the maximum penalty. The soldiers took the prisoner to I,ouisville. The husband was in court and armed, but he did not get a chance to use his weapon. The trial and convietion lasted just one hour.
