An exohange says: "I wonld like to offer a snggestion to the people of tbis :own for the winter. Dou't ship a big box of olothing and provisions a thousand miles away when there is a little joy freezing just aronnd the corner, probably within a few feet of yon. It is right to send help away, but take care of the destitate at ycnr own doors jeforegoing farther away. Don't hesiate abont giving a Presbyterian coat to a Methodist boy or a Methodist pair of pauts to a Lntberan. Give the clothng to the ueedy, regardless of the relaivés and you have doue an act that ia coimuendable in the eyes of the Almighty."
